ABOUT MAINTENANCE SERVICES ELECTRICAL LTD
MEET THE MSE TEAM
We work well as a team and pride ourselves on good communication to keep things running smoothly.
I’m one of MSE’s Directors, qualified to level 4 in Design and Verification.
When I’m not at work I go to the gym and attend motorsports events of all kinds. There’s still plenty of the world I haven’t seen yet.
I compete in Rebels racing short oval motorsport and have been known to enjoy a game or two of snooker.

I enjoy spending time with my kids and am currently in the process of re-building an old Land Rover Defender, which could take a while.
I enjoy snooker, golf, fishing and playing bass guitar in a band.
I’m a team player; that’s what I bring to company.
Outside of work, pretty much every day includes football, either playing or training, and going to the gym.
Apart from football and the gym I enjoy socialising and visiting the pub.
I’m an experienced and adaptable electrician with an eye for detail and problem solving.
I love outdoor pursuits and fishing, which luckily my two young children love too.
I specialise in the commercial and industrial sectors and am also training an MSE apprentice.
When I'm not at work I often do more work - I have to keep busy. I enjoy woodwork and my main hobbies are fishing and archery.
I’m an apprentice electrician in my second year assisting my supervisors on jobs.
I play rugby at club level, watch Saints, and enjoy hanging out with friends.
Maintenance Services Electrical: Where it all began
I originally completed my apprenticeship as an electrician in Northampton back in 1970. I went on to work on some major local projects including Kettering General Hospital, the University of Northampton and Wellingborough Swan Centre before heading up to Humberside to work on petro-chemical installations. When I returned to Northamptonshire I saw a niche in the market for industrial and commercial maintenance and that's why I started Maintenance Services Electrical in 1988.
I'm convinced that electrical apprenticeships are still a great way to learn your trade and I am delighted that all the permanent members of our team served their electrical apprenticeships with us and have chosen to stay.
We are constantly updating our skills and the team regularly attends City and Guilds update courses. I firmly believe that this commitment to training, quality, professionalism and a strong team spirit are the main reasons why our customers enjoy working with us. We've been working with some of our original customers for almost 35 years now.

I firmly believe that this commitment to training, quality, professionalism and a strong team spirit are the main reasons why our customers enjoy working with us. We've been working with some of our original customers for almost 35 years now.More importantly, we listen and have great communication with them, which means we can quickly come up with a solution to pretty much any electrical challenge.
I am now disgracefully retired but am always avaialble if any of the team have questions I can help with. I now spend most of my time in Cornwall with my wife, Jane, who is also enjoying her well-deserved retirement after working with me for over 30 years! I like to be in the wild outdoors and especially fishing and shooting.
