I would just like to say thank you to MSE for the installation of NEST heating controls in our house and an electric car charger. We have also used MSE previously for an additional socket.
I had been looking into NEST heating controls. You explained to me how it worked and where to buy the unit from, and then MSE installed it. We had also ordered an electric car, so it made sense to do the car charger at the same time.
The engineer who came was very helpful; he helped me set it all up and showed me how it worked. He also did the same for the electric car charger. He was very polite and efficient and left the area tidy afterwards.
Thank you very much the work you have done for us. We would not hesitate to recommend MSE to others.

"My house is about 50 years old, and the fuse box has not been changed in that time. As I was having some work done on the house, I thought it was sensible to bring the fuse box into the 21st century. I discussed this with Ben and he advised me that changing the box was not compulsory as I had no plans to move or rent the house out. However, for peae of mind, I asked him to put a new modern box in.
Ben was able to fit me into his schedule the following week. He couldn't give me an exact timescale because of the age of the house and the fact that he hadn't actually seen it. He turned up bright and early and was soon assessing the electrical system. The new fuse box was fitted by mid afternoon. However Ben was not finished working as he still had to test the wiring circuit.
He soon found that the bonding between the meter and the cold water supply wasn't fitted. This entailed running a 10-metre cable between the two.
Then there was a break in the circuit somewhere and he had to check every light switch and plug socket in the house, plus every connection between them.
Throughout the day Ben was very thorough as he systematically worked through the wiring for the fuse box and then checking for faults throughout the house.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Ben to anyone looking to have electrical work done by a real professional."
