New member of the MSE team
Posted on 12th September 2024
We’re very pleased to welcome Onni to the MSE team as he starts his electrical apprenticeship. We like to support apprentices so they can grow and succeed in their careers. Welcome aboard, Onni.
TWith his impressive GCSE grades, he’s secured his spot at Moulton College. Our thanks to Midshires Electrical & Lighting Ltd Sales Director Jamie Faulkner for providing an excellent CK Tools starter toolkit. This high quality equipment for new apprentices comes with the help of Fegime Future to give them a great start. The support of the many sponsors is much appreciated too.
Working together across the electrical sector
Fegime is a network of small to medium-sized electrical wholesaling companies working together across Europe. This allows members to operate independently while benefiting from their combined purchasing power. Customers continue to receive a really personal service along with competitive wholesale pricing.
Fegime UK now has over 30 member companies, including Midshires Electrical. They support newcomers to the electrical contracting industry with a range of toolkits developed with support from members.
Fegime’s Chief Executive, Alan Reynolds, says: “Having started as an apprentice electrician when I was 16 years old, I know how difficult it is to build your first set of tools. Members and suppliers wanted to help new starters with some support with a bespoke tool bag and tools. It is really important with all of the opportunities coming to the electrical sector that we invest in our future tradespeople.”
Why our customers benefit
Fegime UK was established in 1968, so it’s the UK’s longest established buying group. It allows independent wholesalers to purchase as a consortium that benefits from greater purchasing power. It’s now a multinational organisation that aims to add value for members, suppliers and customers.
We’ve worked with Midshires Electrical for many years now and we know they provide good value and great service.
