A new report highlights how improved management and monitoring of building systems such as air-conditioning and ventilation, can reduce CO2 levels to improve the comfort and health of employees. 
When the sun is shining outdoors workplaces can easily overheat. A recent report by Unison showed how too much heat at work can make us feel less energetic, cause muscle cramps and place extra strain on the heart and lungs.  
 
Tiredness and loss of concentration can also lead to an increased risk of accidents, especially in manufacturing environments.
