The government says it plans to introduce low and zero-emission transport. 
 
Today you could go a long way and without seeing an electric vehicle, but numbers are slowly increasing. Only 1.8% of new cars registered were electric or low-emission in 2017, but that figure rose to 2.5 percent in 2018. 
One of the things that will help us make the move to renewable sources of energy in the UK is the availability of reliable and cost-effective battery storage. 
 
Now batteries designed for increasingly popular electric cars are being used to store power for the National Grid. 
The government has proposed a ban on all petrol and diesel cars by 2040 to encourage people to turn to electric vehicles. Have you ever considered an electric car?
