Maintenance Services Electrical (MSE Ltd) is currently looking for a full-time apprentice electrician to join the team. We’re a well-established company and proud of our reputation for high quality work and customer care. 

 

Apprenticeships are open to everyone but are especially relevant to young people currently completing their GCSEs. We would like to hear from you if you have or expect to achieve GCSE Level 4 grades in English, Maths and at least two other subjects and will be 16 on or before 1 September 2024. 

 

We’re looking for people with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for on-the-job training. You’ll need to become part of our team and work well with our customers. 

 

If you’re accepted you will be an MSE employee with time allocated to your training locally for at least 20% of your normal working hours. You’ll gain job-specific skills and will work alongside experienced electricians. You’ll work towards City and Guilds NVQ Levels 1 to 3 qualifications and will take the Achievement Measurement (AM) 2 multi-part practical exams. We can then discuss other training such as the inspection and testing course. 

 

The role is based at our Brixworth office, normally from Monday to Friday. Some overtime and work in other parts of the country with overnight stays might be required.
